House of Nature Kamenjak Premantura

House of Nature Kamenjak is situated in the centre of Premantura, just across the old bell tower. The House of Nature Kamenjak is founded in 2008 using the donations from the EU project KaPo and the resources of the Public Institution of Kamenjak and the Municipality of Medulin. There are: an eco-centre with numerous contents like an aquarium, terrarium, fossils, dinosaur footprints, photos and interactive tools, all for the purpose of presenting the beauties of Cape Kamenjak – a Mediterranean jewel in Istria. The guides in the House of Nature are there to answer all your questions . In addition there is possible to find out everything about the attracations that can be found in the area of Cape Kamenjak as well as the rules of conduct that should be complied with in order to be able to freely enjoy your stay in the nature. The admission to the House of Nature Kamenjak is free of charge.

House of Nature Kamenjak Premantura – School programmes

The Public Institution of Kamenjak organizes workshops tailored according to the curriculum or primary and secondary scholls in nature and biology. A proffesional team is composed of a molecular biologist, an environmentalist, an agronomist, rangers and a supervisor. The half-day workshops take place in the eco-centre of the House of Nature in Premantura or in the field on Cape Kamenjak area.
